Greetings classmates, looking forward to our weekend, anyone golfing in Alumni outing?

Can anyone tell me what happened to Cindy Stein and Penny Watkins. 59 and 60 is just too young.

Class of '75 This message is for you!  I am class of 76, and with it looking like there will be more than 1 vaccine for the covid crap by April we are going ahead with plans to have our 45th reunion next year.  I brought up the fact that you guys did not get to celebrate your 45th this year because of it, and made the pitch to my class to invite your class to party with us.  The results were a resounding  HELL YES from 76, and it would no doubt be a reunion to remember...so please join us.  Our 45th will be free, and so free for you guys too.  we will need help in planning from you, but we have a couple venues picked out already that are within today's virus social distancing requirements.  The catering we have a couple options, but prefer to do it ourselves, tickets to get in, but the tickets are free.  I have spoken with Stan about this a little, but just want to see how you all would feel about joining us...it would have been 'class-less' to not think about you guys, so we did, and we want you with us.  You'd think it would be twice the headache to organize this, but its actually the opposite, will only take 1/2 the time if we work together.  This is a win/win/win for all, please talk about this with your members and let Stan know and he can contact me, and we'll combine the organizing cmt(s), but we've already begun.  This will be easy to do and the magnitude of the celebration will make it a reunion not to miss.  I hope you take me seriously and join in with us.  My class gave me shit for starting our own preparations, but too bad, the response just for our class has been overwhelming with people who have never been to one reunion already getting excited for next year.  What a great party for all of us to look forward too, and why in the heck should you guys wait 9 years between your celebrations.  Lets celebrate our 45th reunions together...can you imagine?????  by making it free we cut the prep times in half, the workload is cut in half, and we already got 2 venues in mind and will have third.  one outside, one inside, and one with a little of both.  Covid Schmovid (raspberries! )  let STan know what you think and we'll meet to discuss everything with you all, not he and I, the organizing comittees.  This is so doable, please just say yes and lets get going, I have way more friends in your class then I do in mine anyway, and so do lots of others.  What do you say Class of 1975???? we on!!!

Judy, we voted to hold our next reunion in 5 years! So in the year 2020. Everyone stay healthy so we can do this again!  

I'm sorry to have missed this reunion, so looking forward to it, but with the work demand at Ernst & Young and it being a tax deadline I couldn't leave my desk more or less leave the state. By looking at the pictures, I know I missed a good time and missed seeing everyone.  I don't know if anything was planned for the next one, if so, please post a message.  Hope to see you at the next one!!!!   Judy

Just wanted to again thank the people who made our 40th class reunion a success. I don't think I could have had a better time.

I will not be able to attend. My work schedule does not allow me to do much and have a early work schedule and 6 days a week.

Seems to me that the kids from Yankee Ridge Elementary have been the strongest presence at the past UHS Class of 1975 reunions. Keep the tradition going?

Hi everyone!  I just wanted to post a quick note that we are starting to look at our 50th (yikes) reunion! As we start gathering ideas and suggestions, we thought we would open things up to some zoom meetings!  If you are interested in joining, please let us know. Hi , I will not be able to make it to the reunion, I haven't been back to C-U since I graduated  in 1975, I really liked C-U, It was like a different world compared to what I was use to, I lived at Cunningham Children's home, worked at Arby's, and for the City of Urbana, I have just been  diagnoised with Cancer,So I do not know what will be going on by October. Gonna need a lot of prayers! Lois
