Kathy Sue Smith, 67, of rural Missouri passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 at her home.  The daughter of Harold and Genevieve "Jenny" (Walls) Green, she was born on September 22, 1957 in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. She was a high school graduate and attended college where she received her associate degree.  On May 14, 1994, in Kilwinning, Missouri, she was united in marriage to William E. Smith and to this union one son, Joshua, was born.

Kathy is survived by her husband, William E. Smith of rural Missouri; one son, Joshua Smith of rural Missouri; two sisters, Judy Sunderman and husband Mark of Tennessee and Susan Taylor and husband Glen of Colorado and several nieces and nephews. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents.
