Who can enter information on this page?

You don't have to be a UHS 1975 graduate in order to set up a profile with our class. If you moved away, or graduated early or late or not at all, you can still register your information here!  We would love to hear from you!

What have you been up to?: Semi-retired as of this year. Before: teaching women's and gender studies and a first-year seminar on comedy. For twenty years I was an academic librarian. From 1980-1990, I lived in Hawaii.
Hobbies or special talents?: Reading, writing, with Lake Michigan a few blocks away. I'm also very interested in "compassionate communication," which also goes by "NVC."

Comment: I too find it amazing that it has been 40 years since we graduated. -- A life time ago. Thank you to the reunion committee for all your hard work!
What have you been up to?: I've been enjoying summers at our island home on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire, I'm in the C-U area during tax time and the rest of the year I am at our home outside of New York City. In September, Janet, my partner of 12 years, and I eloped in the White Mountains (NH)!
Hobbies or special talents?: I am learning the constellations during the summer months, not as easy as I thought. I'm actively studying mycology, to help me identify the mushrooms I love pick and eat. A lot of my time is spent kayaking around the 200+ islands on the lake or hiking in the surrounding mountains. And I'm still trying to learn to play the banjo, but somehow I am not very good at practicing!

Comment: Thanks so much to the committee for doing all the work to make this reunion happen. It will be so fun to see everyone again. It just does not seem like it was 50 years ago!!
What have you been up to?: My husband and I will celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary this year -- it has been a great adventure. We are not retired yet, but we do spend fewer hours per week on business these days. We love to travel and have been lucky enough to go to lots of places together. Our three children are grown and live around the country, so we also travel to visit them as well.
Hobbies or special talents?: Well, I pretty much still love to do the same things I loved to do back at Urbana High! Travel, read, sew, cook, swim, dance -- repeat.
